Freeman Crews, age 80 of Dover, TN was called home to be with the Lord February 12, 2022. He was born October 1, 1941, the beloved son of the late Howard and Hazel Crews. Freeman proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a hard worker and provider for his family retiring from GM as a Certified Cadillac Master Mechanic. He enjoyed collecting and refurbishing diecast cars from the 1930 –1940 models.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters; Louise Hoggle and Marie Green.
Those left behind to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife; Kaye Page Crews of Dover, TN, daughters; Debra (Todd) Montgomery of Cottondale, AL, Jayna Payne of Tuscaloosa, AL, sons; Keevin (Sandra) Crews of Northport, AL, Jody (MaryAnn) Crews of Centreville, AL, Shane (Deborah) Crews of Northport, AL, Scott (Cyndee) Heflin of Slayden, TN, brothers; Wesley Crews of Allen, TX, Kenny Crews of Mobile, AL, Danny Crews of Dover, TN, sister; Fredia Montz of Greensboro, AL, fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Jackson Cemetery on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 am with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating.
