Michael Beard, age 65 of Moundville, passed away May 24, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Services were held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Englewood Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Beard officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing, burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter; Ashlyn Tierce, parents; and nine of his siblings.
Michael is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Beard, his children; BrandonBeard (Tabatha), Steven Beard (Temekia), and Amanda Tierce (Benji), fourteen grandchildren; Savannah, Dylan, Chelsey, Rylee, Makala, Michael Jr., Carmen, Makinzzy, Summer, and Michael III, siblings; Joel Beard, TheronBeard, Shirley Cook, and Betty Stripling.
He was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on December 12, 1956. He was employed by S.T. Bunn for 30 plus years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by many.
Pallbearers were Dylan Beard, Matt Allen, Benji Tierce, Bradley Beard, Brandon Beard, Michael Tierce, Jr., Jr. Beard, Matt Montgeromy, and Steven Beard.
Honorary Pallbearers were S.T. Bunn Construction, Doctor’s and Nurses on 1st floor ICU at DCH Regional Medical Center.
