At Hale County Hospital, we work to ensure that our providers are trained, prepped, and ready for any natural disasters that could affect the Hale County community.
On September 9th 2022, Hale County Hospital and the Moundville Clinic joined forces with law enforcement, EMS, and the Fire Department from across Alabama in a “Disaster Drill”. The drill allowed the medical teams to learn and prepare for the best techniques to use in the case of an actual emergency. Additionally, the drill allowed the hospital to form new relationships with many of the first responders around the region.
