Earl Lee “T.J.” Ward died Sept. 2 at DCH Regional Medical Center at the age of 38. He was born June 15, 1984 in Greensboro to the late Valerie Marie Ward. He confessed Christ at an early age. He attended Greensboro East High School, later moving to Tuscaloosa, where he resided until his death.
Survivors include a daughter, Jalissa Ward of Tuscaloosa; two sons, Jamarcus Green of Sawyerville and Kelvin Britford of Greensboro; a sister, Sharon Ward of Tuscaloosa; two brothers, William (Jamarja) Ward of Greensboro and Bobby Ward of Akron; two special aunts, Concetta Ward of Greensboro and Jacklyn Ward of Kentucky; two special nieces, Shan’terria Ward and Tran’Kaylynn Silvers, both of Tuscaloosa; a special nephew, Reginald Rhodes of Tuscaloosa; and a host of nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 17 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Greensboro with the Rev. Cornelius Pernell officiating and Washington and Paige Mortuary directing.
