Elmer Franklin Crocker, Jr., 74 of Marion, AL went to his eternal home on December 16, 2022. He was born on February 11, 1948 in Perry County, AL to Elmer Franklin Crocker, Sr. and Jewel O’Neal Horne Crocker. He was a parts salesman in Uniontown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Crocker Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Foster Crocker of Marion; his daughter, Anita Chandler; his sons: Carl Crocker of Marion, Sid Crocker (Jennifer) of Gardendale, AL, and Philip Crocker of Columbus, GA; and his brother, Michael Crocker (Rene) of Demopolis, AL. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Taylor Crocker, Kenley Crocker, Kaiden Crocker, and Chloe-Grace Crocker.
A graveside service was held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Washburn officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing. A visitation followed the graveside service in the fellowship hall of the church.
Pallbearers were: Kaiden Crocker, Taylor Crocker, Jon Richards, Darrin Hinton, Heath Ashe, Samuel Richards, Paul Wheeler, and David Norman. Honorary pallbearers were the Hopewell deacons.
