Students from Francis Marion School and Robert C. Hatch School Mobile to tour Austal and the Port of Mobile. Austal is a global ship builder and defense prime contractor with industry leading capabilities in the development of both defense and commercial vessel platforms. Organized by the Career Coach, Ms. Fowlkes, Wallace Community College dual enrollment welding students from Mr. Doug Harris’ class and other CTE students got the opportunity to be amazed by the ship building process and the importing and exporting of goods at the Port of Mobile.
