Robert Ervin Bamberg, 62, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Centerpoint Fellowship Church. Burial was at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
A retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel, Bamberg was a Bronze Star Medal recipient and a USAF Command Pilot with over 3000 combat hours.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buford Bamberg, and a brother, Keith Bamberg. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Denise Bamberg; his mother, Frances Bamberg; two sons, Ian Bamberg (Hannah), Zach Bamberg; brother, Richard Bamberg (Joy); sister-in-law, Debbie Bamberg; and numerous extended family members and many friends.
