Shirley Hartley Royster, 78 of Marion, AL went to her eternal home on February 3, 2023. She was born on October 23, 1944 in Perry County, AL to Doyle Hartley and Carolean Colburn Hartley.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonya Henry (Luke) of Marion; her sisters, Fannie Lipham and Becky Stone (Wayne); and her two grandchildren: Dylan Henry and Justin Henry.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. George Washburn officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were Pete Royster, Jonathon Royster, Johnny Swindal, Brian Hood, Clarence Royster, and Brad Hobson. Honorary pallbearers were Scott Swindal and Thomas Irby Pope, III.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church Youth.
