MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE. Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Coye O. Lucky Jr. and Reita H. The Town of Akron is considering making application to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Program Loan.
In order to inform the citizens of Akron of components of the program, a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the Akron Town Hall located at 207 1st Avenue South Akron, AL 35441. An Environmental Information Document will be available for public review at the Akron Town Hall during business hours. Citizens will be informed at such meeting regarding the nature and extent of proposed activities, amount of funding available and time frames for the program year.
Further, The Town of Akron will be accepting comments on the application for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management’s DWSRF Loan Fund for the purpose of the Water System Improvements. Every citizen in attendance will be afforded the opportunity to express their views of the program and needs of the community. Citizens, who wish, may submit their comments in writing to:
