The Uniontown Park and Recreation Board announced the beginning of the basketball season for their Summer League Basketball Team.
On Monday, April 3, volunteer coaches had their first practice session at Robert C. Hatch Elementary’s gymnasium. Both boys and girls, aged 10-12, practiced together in preparation for the summer season. Practice sessions were also held on Tuesday, April 4. Though practice sessions have been co-ed, teams will not be.
Registration for the Summer League ends on May 13, with the cost being $25 for the first child and $10 per additional child, due at the first practice session attended. Registration is available online and in person.
