Last summer, for the first time in several years, Marion Junior Golf returned and was a roaring success. It drew in young people of all ages, with nearly 20 signups, and behind its dedicated coaches was able to field multiple age groups. The program taught golf fundamentals and etiquette to a whole new generation of Marion’s youth, all on our town’s beloved Marion Golf and Athletic Club course. And this year, on June 1st, Marion Golf once again hits the greens.
With already around 15 signups and an excellent group of coaches, it should be an exciting month of golf as the program returns for its second year under Coach Scott Brewer, who headed up the program last year. Helping coach this year will be Judge Don Mcmillan, Vanessa Nicholson, Grayson Brewer, Henry Webb and Campbell Webb.
