The Marion-Perry County Library launched their summer reading program, Tuesday, June 6. Beginning at 10 AM, children from three years old to the 1st grade can attend until 12 noon. Children from the 2nd grade to the 7th grade can attend from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM during the duration of the summer reading program.
The Library also announced it was the recipient of a grant from The Daniel Foundation of Alabama that is helping to fund their summer reading program. According to their mission statement, The Daniel Foundation’s goal is to support organizations in every region of Alabama that promote “a healthy and well-educated population, living in a vibrant community.”
