Francis Marion School released their Varsity Football schedule for the 2023 football season, prior to the beginning of the academic year. Beginning on August 25 and running through November 3, this season will consist of five home games and six away games.
Things kick off with a home game against Dallas County on August 25; then, an away game against Greene County on September 1; Blacksher on September 8, away; Aliceville on September 15, home; Chickasaw on September 22, home; St. Luke on September 29, home; Washington County on October 13, away; Southside on October 20, home; Clarke County on October 27, away; and an away game against R.C. Hatch on November 3. All games will begin at 7 PM.
Notable games will include the home game against St. Luke on September 29, which will mark Francis Marion’s Senior Night, for athletes and auxiliary in their graduating year. The home game with Southside slated for October 20 will be the final home game for Francis Marion and marks the school’s Homecoming festivities.
