A Uniontown man has been arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine in Perry County. The individual, identified as James Eugene Gill, 49, was taken into custody on August 9, 2023.
According to a criminal complaint filed in the case on Wednesday, Aug. 9, Gill is accused of possession of methamphetamine. The complaint states that the offense occurred on August 3 on Highway 5 south of Marion.
The charge is classified as a felony under Alabama law.
