Dorothy Jean Wallace Hornbuckle, native of Marion, AL. answered the master’s call January 6, 2024 at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, at the age of 85. She was born July 1, 1938.
Visitation and viewing were held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9AM-5PM. A family hour was held Friday, January 12, 2024 in the chapel of Ashley’s Lee & Rollins Funeral Home. The homegoing celebration was held Saturday, January 13, 2024 11AM at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. The internment immediately followed in the Mt. Gilead churchyard cemetery, officiated by Pastor Denrick Atkins. Services were directed by Ashley’s Lee & Rollins Funeral Home.
