Greensboro Police have arrested a 36 year old man on charges of attempted murder here. Christopher Oneal Edwards, 36, of Greensboro, was arrested on February 29, 2024, on the charge of attempted murder. The criminal complaint against Edwards filed in Hale County District Criminal Court, alleges that he committed the offense on or about 7:00 AM on February 23, 2024. Following his arrest, Edwards is now held in Hale County jail awaiting legal proceedings. Court records indicate that he is currently being held without bond.
Edwards is scheduled to appear on the court’s plea docket on March 26.
