Breakthrough Charter School’s Alice Barton recently received a certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School. The certificate is the penultimate result of a program that is provided by the Ivy League institution for educators and school administrators. The program is designed to link the fields of business and education. In doing so, both provide participants with leadership skills and the framework to promote and provide change in schools. Though Barton received the certificate in November of 2023, the charter school recently announced the accomplishment to its followers on social media.
