Clarrice Hale Hoggle of Sprott, Alabama passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born Nov. 9, 1938. Clarrice married her high school sweetheart, Louis, on July 8, 1956. Together, they raised a family and shared a wonderful life. Clarrice loved her family and friends and was known for her kindness and cheerful heart. She put God and her family above all else. She was always positive no matter what struggles she faced. She was an angel on earth. She was a member of Pine Flat Baptist Church in Suttle, AL and later in life at Cleveland Mills Church in Sprott.
Clarrice was preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Bernard Hale, her husband Louis Hoggle, her sister Gladys Dunkin and her brothers Wayne Hale and Glenn Hale. She is survived by her son, Tommy Hoggle (Teresa), daughters, Rhonda Hoggle (Pat Hogg), Sonya Trammell (Barry), and Susan Allred, who was like a daughter to her, as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Pine Flat Baptist Church in Suttle, Alabama. Visitation was held at 1 pm with the service beginning at 2 pm. with the Rev. Steve Dyess officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing. A graveside service followed at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Pat Hogg, Barry Trammell, Lane Channell, Wes Channell, Christopher Oakes, and Wesley Oakes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of their choice, Alzheimer’s Association or Pine Flat Baptist Church.
