Tristan G. “Trigg” Harris, a 37-year-old resident of Marion, was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024. Harris was driving a 2015 Volvo tractor trailer when it struck a train and caught fire. Harris was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 28, approximately two miles west of Linden, in Marengo County.
Harris was born on January 9, 1987.. The celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Marion Baptist Academy, located at 315 Centerville Street, Marion, Alabama. Following the funeral service, the interment took place at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church on Airport Road, Marion, Alabama.
