LaTasha L. Paige

LaTasha L. Paige, born February 16, 1973, in Greensboro, Alabama, to Betty Jean Paige and John L. Hill, passed away on December 27, 2024. She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. C. E. Williams.

LaTasha was a graduate of Greensboro West High School. She attended West Alabama Mental Health Center in Demopolis and Greensboro, Alabama.

She loved her church family and her pastor. Her favorite activities included going to the beach, listening to music, shopping, and attending family gatherings. Some of her favorite birthday spots were Captain D’s, Red Lobster, and Pizza Hut.

LaTasha was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Louise Pickens, and Mr. O.C. Paige, as well as her aunts, Dorothy Paige and Shirley Pickens.

She is survived by her loving mother, Betty Paige, and father, John Hill; her sister, Donna Floyd (Kevin); and a host of family members, including aunts Julia Warren, Patricia Allen (Leon), Floria Pickens, Gwenda Jackson, Vanessa Woods, and Delinda (Roosevelt) Patton; uncles Ronnie Pickens (Donna), Jimmy Hardy (Emma); great aunt Sarah L. Maulding; and great uncles Tom Paige and Theodore Hill. Her devoted cousin, Senator Bobby Singleton, was especially close to her, as well as her cousins Willette Smith (Michael), Kawonga Paige (Baine), Karlethia Tyson (Johnny), Mechole, Shaleda Dixon, Antoinette Duncan, Rondric Pickens (Maria), Valencia Hobson (Rashad), Keshia Tubbs, and Creacy Brown.

Additional surviving family members include godmother Lynette Wagner (Phillip) and extended aunts Juliette Tubbs, Glenda Ryans, and special family friends David Lomax and Rodney Harris, among numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for LaTasha L. Paige were held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church, located at 13584 AL Highway 25, Greensboro, Alabama. Pastor C.H. Agnew officiated.
