Davis charged with attempted murder in Perry District Court

A Uniontown man is facing multiple felony charges, including two counts of attempted murder, following a shooting incident in Perry County.

Tavares Saquan Davis, 30, was arrested on Jan. 28 and booked into the Perry County Jail. He is charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of reckless endangerment in connection with a shooting that took place on Dec. 4, 2024. Court records indicate that Davis remains in custody on a $126,000 cash bond.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Perry County District Court, Davis allegedly fired at least five shots out of the window of a black Chevrolet Impala, targeting two individuals. The incident took place in the Village neighborhood and, according to authorities, put nearby residents and the public at risk.

Davis was formally charged in Perry County District Court, where records show a preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 12, 2025.
