Project G.R.A.C.E. plans Community and Resource Day in Marion this Saturday

A wide array of local and state organizations will come together this weekend for the 2025 Marion Community & Resource Day, hosted by Project G.R.A.C.E. Central AL. The free public event will take place Saturday, April 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Perry County Courthouse.

The event promises food, games, music, and a chance for residents to connect with a wide variety of resources and service providers in one central location. Dozens of agencies will be on site, including the Alabama Department of Mental Health, Selma Career Center, Cahaba Medical Care, Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, Perry County DHR, UAB Family Clinic, the Department of Public Health, and many more.

Vendors will offer support and information on everything from autism services and public health to career assistance, substance abuse resources, housing, education, and veteran support. Local banks, churches, daycares, and wellness organizations will also participate, making the event a true community collaboration.

Project G.R.A.C.E. Central AL—an initiative focused on growing resilience around community empowerment—encourages all Perry County residents to attend and take advantage of the many resources and services being offered.
