He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The kids always knew where to get a treat; Reg was never without a Werther’s original or peppermint. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He was an avid hunter and loved taking his nephews and grandkids out to hunt for the big one. He loved playing Domino’s with his brother and friends. He never missed an Atlanta Braves game and loved watching his grandkids play baseball. He also love watching Alabama and Southern Academy Football. Reg proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He was called to duty several times throughout his service and always had many stories to tell. He retired from the Guard after 27 years. Reg later worked for the Hale County Highway Department and retired after 30 plus years. He would often brag about helping to build a road when driving with his family.
