Eric Lamont Williams is charged with multiple counts of criminal mischief
Greensboro man Eric Lamont Williams appeared in Perry County court on June 27, facing two charges of first-degree criminal mischief, according to court records. The State of Alabama filed the charges, categorizing them as felonies.
Authorities originally arrested Williams more than two years ago, on May 8, 2021. However, the filing and indictment only took place recently. The court summoned Williams on the day of his arrest, while the Grand Jury indicted him on June 14.
Williams, who resides in Greensboro, was reportedly out on a $5000 bond. Court records show no indication of him failing to appear to any court proceeding so far.
The charges against Williams concern damage to property, and Alabama law considers first-degree criminal mischief as serious offenses.
