Lucille was an avid sports fan, cheering for Serena and Venus Williams, Alabama Football and Coach Nick Saban, and Tiger Woods. She was also a proud supporter of Barack and Michelle Obama, and enjoyed her friendships with her church and family dearly.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sharon L. Owens of Tuscaloosa; her brother, Maurice Long of Columbia, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Owens Grimsley, Erika Nicole Owens, and Edrich Skylar Owens; and her greatgrandchildren, Madelynn Grimsley, Hannah Grimsley, Aiden Grimsley, Joel Grimsley, Rebekah Grimsley, Sara Katherine Grimsley, and Benjamin Grimsley, all from Tuscaloosa.
