The Marion Art Center will host Marion native Annie W. Holmes for a production entitled “A Fraction of History: Coretta King-Andrew Young-Lincoln School” on Saturday April 27, at 1 PM. The presentation will include special guests, Drama in Motion from Birmingham.
Annie W. Holmes is an author, playwright, vocalist, orator, actress, and now director who is returning to Marion to discuss the local history of the Lincoln Normal School and its alumni, known as “Lincolnnites.” The public is invited to join as Drama in Motion and Holmes reminisce on the past of Marion.
