Jonathan, born to the parents of Lomus and Annie Abner in Montgomery, Alabama on July 28, 1994 passed away on March 26, 2022. With a zest for learning and life, Jonathan thrived academically and professionally. He graduated Cum Laude from Tuskegee University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Taking that hard earned skill and knowledge, Jonathan applied that to his position as a Mechanical Engineer with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Company in Hartford, Connecticut. Touching many hearts with his vibrant personality and warm smile, he will most assuredly be missed. Jonathan Abner is survived in death by his parents, Lomus and Annie Abner of Greensboro, AL; siblings, Anthony (Blanche) and Kenneth Abner, both of Montgomery, AL; sister-inlaw, Sheila Abner of Montgomery, AL; nephew, Anthony Abner , Jr.; niece, Kyndal Abner of Montgomery, AL; uncles, Jerry (Mary) Johnson of San Antonio, TX, Horace Johnson and James (Myril) Johnson, both of Michigan; aunts, Annie Louise Reynolds, Lydia Alexander, Akua McKie, all of Michigan; Melinda (Junior) Davis of Gastiona, NC, Elisabeth (Robert) White of Greensboro, AL and Doris Johnson of Moundville, AL; college friend, Sebastian Hargrove; college roomates, Jamaal Davids and Valario White, Jr.; the members of Tuskegee University, and neighborhood friends of County Road 7, amongst many cousins and other friends.
